EWGA honored ten members as 2011 Women Who Lead, recognizing outstanding achievement in volunteer leadership among the 122 chapters of EWGA.

The Atlanta Chapter salutes our immediate past president, Pam Banister, for being selected as one of the winners. According to Hollis Kerler, EWGA Director of Chapter Development, “the selection process was indeed a challenging one. We had over 120 entries, one from each EWGA chapter.  Pam, we commend you for your achievements, the high regard in which you are held by your peers, and the dedication you exemplify.”

Pam is a Georgia Tech architecture grad, the past president of the Atlanta Chapter of the EWGA, and all around golf enthusiast. Reflecting on her award, Pam said “my goal in 2012 is to break 80 and to compete in the EWGA National Championship.  Honestly, I'm humbled that I was even nominated as I put forth another name that I felt deserved it more.   I'm delighted that the Atlanta Chapter has a Women Who Lead Award winner for the second year in a row!”

Atlanta Chapter President, Jennifer Widener, stated “Pam was a terrific president for the last two years.  Her energy and enthusiasm significantly increased the participation of our members in all our events.  We are all very proud of her!”
