Chapter Championship

ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME! The Westchester Chapter Championship is an 18-Hole flighted local qualifying round. All players have the option of individual Stroke Play or Team Scramble. Non-competitors are also welcome to play in the outing following the competitors with either Stroke or Scramble format.

IMPORTANT!!!!!  Registration to compete is a two step process. 

You must register with EWGA HQ, as well as Register via 123!!!

Step 1 - Register to compete with EWGA HQ - REGISTRATION DEADLINE is June 1, 2013.  Participants must register and submit $35 entry fee via one of the following options:

1. Register online through the events area of your member portal after logging into www.ewga.com.  
2. Complete the entry form with credit card information & fax to EWGA at (561) 691-0012; Attn: Championship
3. Complete the entry form with credit card payment & email to championship@ewga.com
4. Complete the entry form and send payment (check or credit card info) to:

REGISTRATION DEADLINE TO COMPETE - June 1, 2013

Step 2 - Register for the Golf online. Cost:  $125 

Competitors can play in Stroke or in 4-member Team Scramble Competition. The Low Gross and Low Net Champions in each flight and winning Scramble Team are eligible to advance to the Semi-Final Championship being held on July 27, 2013 at Shawnee Resort and Spa, Shawnee on Delaware, PA.  The Champions from the Semi-Final Competition will be eligible to advance to the EWGA Championship Finals, a two-day, 36-hole event to be held on Septenber 7-8, 2013 at The Wigwam Golf Resort, Litchfield Park, AZ.

STROKE PLAY—Stroke Play competition will be conducted on both a gross and net score basis. Players will be flighted based on Handicap Index (not Course Handicap) in effect as of June 1, 2013, MGA revision date rec. by National EWGA.

First flight: 12.1–19.0
Second flight: 19.1–25.0
Third flight:25.1–32.0
Fourth flight: 32.1-40.4

TEAM SCRAMBLE — (4) Member Team—The Team Computation Factor is the sum of the computation factors listed in the below table. Look up each member's handicap index below and add the computation factor from the right hand column. Only one member of the team shall have a handicap index of 12.0 or less. The positive and negative total handicaps of the team must fall between +2 and -5. Teams whose total Team Computation Factor falls outside these parameters, will not be eligible to compete.
