You must be an EWGA Westchester Member to register in a League. League sign-up is on a first-come first serve basis. The first opportunity to sign up for any of our leagues is at our annual Tee-Off Luncheon which is on March 24th at Hampshire Country Club, Mamaroneck, NY.
After the Luncheon, online league registration via this page will be open. Please check your level of play before signing up for a league to ensure that you are registering for a league what matches your golf level and handicap. Most leagues are limited to 32 players. Greens fees for the entire season are due when you sign-up, and there are no refunds.
New Members/New League Registrants
- League eligibility for new EWGA members and new league registrants will be determined based on handicaps.
- New EWGA members and new league registrants without a verifiable handicap will be directed to the appropriate league based on playing experience (as determined by the League and/or Handicap Chair).
- New or beginner golfers without a verifiable handicap will be eligible to sign up for the Rookie League.
Handicaps
EWGA Westchester strongly encourages all members to have a handicap - establishing and maintaining a handicap is an important and essential part of the game of golf. For more information on obtaining and maintaining a handicap, click here.
Players who want to register for any league other than the New Golfer Leagues (Saxon Rookie and Saxon Beginner) must provide handicap verification upon registration. Players who do not have a handicap but who have entered scores should provide score record information. Players may be asked to have another player with whom they have played vouch for/verify their estimated handicap. The League and Handicap Chairs may be called upon to determine which League a player is eligible for.

**This cost includes a $10 food voucher for each night of the league (distributed by Westchester Hills Golf Club.). The vouchers may be used by league participants toward post-round food at Westchester Hills. They can be used each week, or particpants may use several vouchers on any one night.
There are no rain dates or rain checks at the county courses; players pay for 10 weeks but get 12 weeks in the county summer Leagues to cover rain dates.
