ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME! The Westchester Chapter Championship is an 18-Hole flighted local qualifying round. All players have the option of individual Stroke Play or Inter-chapter Team Scramble. Non-competitors are welcome to play in the outing following the competitors also with the option of Stroke or Scramble format.

Registration for the chapter championship is a 2 step process:

Step 1— Download and mail the championship registration form, together with a check for $35 registration fee to:

The registration form must be received (not postmarked) by Wednesday, June 30th, 2010.

Please include a copy of your handicap card along with your registration form.

Step 2—Register for event online. Cost is between $95.

Competitors can play in Stroke or in Inter-Chapter 4-member Team Scramble Competition. The Low Gross and Low Net Champions in each flight and winning Scramble Team are eligible to advance to the Semi-Final Championship being held on August 21, 2010 at Villa Roma Resort in Callicoon, NY.

STROKE PLAYERS will be flighted based on Handicap Index (not Course Handicap) in effect 6/25/10, MGA revision date rec. by National EWGA.

Championship flight: Handicap Index 0–8.0
1st flight: Handicap Index 8.1–16.0
2nd flight: Handicap 16.1–24.0
3rd flight: Handicap 24.1–32.0
4th flight: Handicap 32.1-40.4

Team Handicap for INTER–CHAPTER 4 PERSON SCRAMBLE TEAM is based on team handicap, the sum of each member's individual Computation Factor, based upon their Handicap Index in effect as of 6/25/10. Teams with a Team Handicap outside total team handicap range (based on the Computation Factor chart below) of more than +4 or less than –4 are not eligible.

The Champions from the Semi-Final Competition will be eligible to advance to the EWGA Championship Finals, a two–day, 36–hole event to be held on October 1–2, 2010 at Geneva National Resort & Golf Club, Palmer & Trevino Courses, Lake Geneva, WI.

The EWGA Championship provides members at all skill levels the opportunity to compete in tournament golf and is the largest, organized, women's amateur golf competition in the world.
