The EWGA-XCEL MVP Award Program is designed to reward a combination of participation, volunteer efforts, improvement, and golf skill of our members and recognize our largest contribution sponsor XCEL Federal Credit Union. The contest runs from March 30 to October 15, 2010. Participants will be assigned points based on multiple criteria. You don't have to be the best golfer to win and all EWGA Westchester members in good standing are eligible.
Throughout the season, participants will earn and accumulate points in various categoriesactivities attended, volunteer service, most improved handicap, contests won, ringers and more. Points will be totaled for each member at the end of the season and a first and second prize will be awarded at our awards dinner in the fall.
At the end of the season, the winning pair with the most points will receive the following:
- Free EWGA Membership at the Classic Level
- Names engraved on a beautiful silver trophy which is displayed at all major events and outings.
The announcement of the winning team and trophy presentation will be recognized at the Closing Dinner in October, 2009.
RULES:
- Open only to Westchester Chapter Members (including dual members).
- Must be registered for the MVP Award Program.
- Board Members will not be paired together.
- Attendance at an event means that the individual registered and paid for the event. If a registrant does not attend an event that was paid in full and does not receive a refund, they are eligible to receive the allotted points for such event.

Individuals who register for this contest with a Handicap will receive 5 Points
Recruiting:
Individuals who recruit a new member during the program will receive 5 Points for each new member recruited. (Note: This is tracked through the MGAM Program listed on the EWGA National Website)
