Sprain Lake Golf Course — Intermediate League

Designed by golf course architect Tom Winton, Sprain Lake is characterized by small greens, rolling terrain and a number of highly challenging holes, with an abundance of water hazards and difficult shots. Because of its long and narrow layout, Sprain Lake offers a mostly linear, back-and-forth style of play.

Saxon Woods Golf Course — Beginner/Intermediate League

Saxon Woods' rolling, wooded landscape give this sporting course tremendous character. It was designed by golf course architect Tom Winton and opened to the public in 1931. Today all 18 of Saxon Woods tees have been completely renovated, along with several greens. There is also a new restaurant and concession at the course.

Open Play Weekday (during the day) and Weekends

Open Play is played on public courses in Westchester, Rockland , Orange and Dutchess County, as well as Connecticut. Some examples of courses we played during the 2009 season:

Apple Greens Golf Course: a Country Club feel golf course located on a public course in Highland, NY

Beekman Golf Course: a beautiful 27 hole golf course located in Hopewell Junction, NY

Casperkill Golf Club: played amidst ponds, oak trees and rolling hills.

Links at Union Vale: a links course that brings a little bit of Ireland to Dutchess County

Richter Park: Connecticut’s Hidden Jewel. Situated in Danbury the golf course encompasses over 180 acres of gentle rolling terrain. With West Lake Reservoir bordering seven holes on the front and Boggs Pond bordering the signature 12th, water can come into play on 14 out of 18 holes. Four sets of tees make this scenic layout accommodating for golfers of all skill levels and undulating fairways and fast rolling greens guarded by one of 52 bunkers surrounding the course make it a challenge at every turn.
